Thematic 2018 : Robot Cities
75 years ago, Isaac Asimov published the three Laws of Robotics ...
Because in the future, robots will build our cities, respecting nature, we must teach them new laws:
- A robot must always take care of its natural environment (bee, flowers ...)
- A robot can use natural resources, unless such use conflicts with the first law (water, landscape, materials, ...)
- A robot can build comfortable houses, provided that such action does not conflict with first or second law
It is by following these new laws in the best way that the robots of the participants will have to evolve.
A reinforced opening to the general public
High-level matches will be retransmitted in an exceptional atmosphere: more than 1,500 places open to attend live selections and support the favorite teams. The organizers are counting on the mobilization of all to support the regional teams in the running!
Demonstrations and participatory workshops on new technologies: everyone can test and try the programming, with of course the complicity of specialists!
The event is organized by “Planète Sciences” and “Oryon” and is supported by many partners including YASKAWA France.
